Celebrate the process! Commemorate every step (or pedal) of a long build with a poster capturing all the routes in your (or your friend's) training cycle. Every row is a week, every column is a day of the week. The final, biggest route is the race itself.
Each poster is as unique as the training block it represents. Here are a few of my favourite examples.
Pick your race and training window, choose which activity types to include (runs, hikes, rides, etc.), pick a color for the race route, and select your product — digital PDF, print, or framed print. Then pay securely and you'll get a confirmation and follow-up instructions right away.
The follow-up instructions will show you how to request a full export of your data from Strava. Once Strava sends you a download link (usually takes a few hours), you can just forward it to me. (I promise I won't do anything nefarious, but do keep in mind that the export includes all of your activities.)
I'll use the link you send me to download your Strava data and turn it into your poster. Usually done within a week.
I submit to Printful, who print and ship direct to you. After a 2–5 day fulfilment window, delivery is typically 3–4 business days in the US, 3–5 in Canada, and 5–20 internationally. Framed orders take a few extra days to fulfil.
Price transparency
I aim to make about $20 CAD per piece on these. The rest covers payment processing, Printful costs, site hosting, etc. Shipping is charged separately based on your location. If cost is a prohibitive factor, shoot me an email. I would love for anyone who wants one to have one.
Have a special request? Include it in your follow-up email when you send me your Strava link — simple changes are often doable.
About me
I'm an enthusiastic hobby jogger based out of Vancouver, BC. I started making these because I love maps, I love endurance training, and I really love combining the two. In my day job, I'm an environmental economist at UBC.
